Japji Sahib is the first sacred composition found in the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy scripture of Sikhism. It was composed by Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of the Sikh religion and the first of the Sikh Gurus. Japji Sahib acts as the keynote of the Guru Granth Sahib and is revered as a concise summation of Sikh philosophy.
